5.0 out of 5 stars Good construction, nice size
My compact flash cards fit snugly inside this case. The case snaps shut and feels fairly secure. It's about the size of my iPod, so it's not a big bulky thing. It's not tiny either, but it's small enough to carry in a pocket but solid enough to feel like it's really protecting my cards. Removing cards is fairly easy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Way too large for compact flash cards
I knew this was somewhat large, but it is designed for something other than standard compact flash cards. Each slot could hold at least 4 cards, so the total is 16 or more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact Flash Case, February 26, 2008

The translucent hard plastic case fits 4 compact flash cards very snugly in removeable ruberized inserts. A PCMCIA adapter insert can be used on one side in place of 2 CF inserts. The unit ships with only one PCMCIA insert. The cards are easy to remove without the aid of finger nails. The case has an externally attached flap which functions as a clasp which firmly closes the case. The unit will not open unintentionally. However, the only potential downside is that the flap and/or hinge (molded plastic strip) could be damaged (torn away from the case) if hyperextended. Overall: The unit is well worth the cost and I am very happy with the purchase.

This thing works great. It's an awesome way to keep up with your cards and make sure they are dry! I love mine so much, I ordered another one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality product, well designed, May 9, 2008

Being a professional photographer, I need secure storage and quick access for my compact flash cards. I have used the Hakuba DMSPCF4 case for years, and each time I buy more CF cards, I buy another Hakuba case. While on assignment, I can keep several cases in my camera bag and one case fits conveniently in my pocket. This allows quick access to the cards when I need to change them; yet I don't have to worry about losing or damaging them, as I would if I put loose cards in my pocket. The design also allows me to place the used cards in the case upside down; so with a quick glance I can instantly see which ones are ready for use and which ones are already full.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product!, February 29, 2008

I had looked at many other CF Cases, and hadn't been impressed with any of them. They all seemed pricey for what they were. This card was right in all areas, price, function, and durability. It fits 4 cards with ease, is easy to open, but stays closed in my camera bag. I haven't tested its waterproof-ness nor do I plan to. but it seems like it'd keep things dry even in a downpour. I wouldn't go submerging it in the tub with cards in it though!

Great product, GREAT price, even better value! If i ever need another case I'll be sure to get this one again!

My only complaint is I don't know what to do with the PCMCIA card holder since I'm using this for CF cards...Trash I suppose?

This case is fine for the price paid but I question how long the latch will last. It's just a creased plastic type latch that over time and with usage can probably rip fairly easily.

That said, this case can almost be viewed as a disposable since it's not very expensive. Just recycle it if it ever breaks and buy another case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nicely designed case, December 1, 2011

FEEL:
Love the feel of this case. It is soft and rubbery on the inside, yet holds the cards securely. It is not a pain to remove the cards (you don't have to break a fingernail trying to pry them out of their positions).

MECHANISM:
I also LOVE how this case opens and closes. You don't have to fight with the mechanism, or try to wedge a nail into a small slot to pry it open. There is a nice large side closure which you can slide open and closed with the side of your thumb. A huge plus.

LOOK:
The outside is a translucent, modern-looking, solid-feeling light blue plastic. The inside is a really great lime green color rubber.

OVERALL:
I'm glad I ordered 2! I tend to use smaller capacity CF cards, and use more of them, rather than load everything up on one or two cards, and be susceptible to a card failure or loss. So I need two of these cases to hold my 8 cards. This is definitely an upgrade from my previous method of carrying my cards - loose in a pocket of my photog belt-pack (fanny pack type accessories pouch).

SUMMARY:
Highly recommend this case! It will definitely protect my CF cards during my assignments and travels. I feel this case might especially appeal to women, as it has a soft feel to it, but men- don't let that dissuade you from ordering.

CAVEAT:
If you are going into some extreme conditions, and need a 100% guaranteed waterproof, puncture-proof case, you should look elsewhere. This one appears to be secure and water resistant to a degree, but I wouldn't push it too far.

5.0 out of 5 stars You should have a case for your CF cards, and this is the one., January 26, 2012

With my old DSLR I had 4 compact flash cards and this was the perfect case to keep them all together and well protected. The cards fit very snug in the slots. It also makes it easy to keep track of what cards you've used - just turn used cards face down and the others face up. If you use CF cards, you've gotta get this case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best thing for my cards, Absolutely, October 20, 2011

I want to buy four more, now. This thing is incredible. It's protective, solid, sturdy, keeps the cards in place, etc - all the while, not completely bulletproof/ugly-looking, haha. It's truly an excellent buy. It's VERY travel, user, and ease -friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially if you have four cards.. if you have more, I would HIGHLY recommend this product, still, or the same brand/models, but with higher capacity. Even though, I, myself, I have a couple of my own.

I, ALSO, have a couple of their mini card holders, for a P&S camera I bought my mother; and again, HIGHLY recommend. Excellent product.
