I have been doing a lot of painting lately. I'm doing the entire exterior of my house plus several interior rooms. I like the handy pail, and these associated liners. However, the price has forced me to avoid using them. I am reserving them for use on fine detail work, like doors. Otherwise, I just paint out of the 1-gallon cans I buy paint in.
Also, these liners sort of disable a good feature of the handy pail, which is a "sharp" lip useful for taking excess paint off the brush (the pail is too small for the "slap, slap" method. However, I've heard the handy pail is impossible to clean once you put paint directly inside it.

I love our paint pails & these liners are perfect to use, fit exactly & can throw away following each new painting project with a new clean bucket ready to start again, for the next time.

We liked the paint pails & liners so much we bought both for a little part of our adult childrens Christmas & they were delighted. I actually ordered some additional liners to have on hand for future (as yet unscheduled), projects.

We find the size of the paint pails & liners are just right when we need to paint trim, borders, corners, baseboards, etc...just about anyplace we can't use a roller on.

I purchased the Handy Paint Pail a few weeks ago and there were a few liners added as a gift. I loved the liners because it allowed me to quickly change paint colors while using the same pail and minimized cleanup time - about the time it takes to throw the dirty liner away! The downside - purchasing new liners? I don't really call this a downside since I truly love the time the liners save me!

For a typical DIY like me, these are handy. Easier to clean (or dispose) than the pail, I've also found it great for cleaning my brushes even if I didn't use the pail to paint.

For cleaning brushes with latex paint in them, I reuse an older liner, and let the magnet of the pail hold the brush off the bottom in clean water. Much of the latex will simply float to the bottom. I then use a Shur-Line brush cleaner to spin out the excess paint.

I use mine over and over until they crack. The cleanup is easy and it is much kinder to my wrist to carry this around while I cut in instead of the gallon or some tippy plastic container.

I have used all of these for my one paint job. I probably could have cleaned them up, but didn't realize how expensive they were. 50 cents a piece seems more of a fair price, but then again everything is overpriced. I am going to order them because I need to replace the one's I used, they weren't mine. Could be easily cleaned.
