Arrived as advertised
I purchased this as a 'project item' meaning to customize it for my own uses. It arrived exactly as described, and faster than I expected. It is a semi-coarse, self supporting filter media embedded with carbon. It cuts easily with boning shears to fit some obsolete or custom blower units. I use it as a secondary filter after a large particle filter and before a HEPA style...

Works but, not a real fit.
This will do the job you are expecting it to do. It just isn't a real one-to-one replacement of the existing filters. You have to do some manual cutting and get it just right into the slots. However, the Amazon price versus the manufacturer's was what made it worth the work.
