I have almost all of the Noble Collection wands.

Compared to the others Harry's wand is much lighter than some of the other choices. It does feel rather fragile and is meant to be display only.

I say: "Hit or Miss" because that's how it is with Noble Collection. Either you get a beautiful version of the wand, detailed wonderfully. Or you get one of their "cheap" versions.

For example I have two Harry Potter Wands (One with the box, the other with the Triwizard set). Here are their comparisons:

-The one in the box has been designed to look wooden. Even the texture feels realistic.

-The one with the set is two shades: Light brown (looks like paint) for the shaft, and dark brown for the handle. No details, no realistic feelings...cheap.

To sum it up it's your gamble. You will get one version or the other.

I recommend purchasing from the Noble Collection site as the prices are cheaper. You will also have the option of returning/exchanging. Or a used ebay wand, that way you can see the exact wand you are receiving and take out the "chance" factor.

In my opinion Noble Collection is cutting costs. The Wand in the box was one of the first made (They made an effort). But more recently the quality of my wands from Noble have steadily been getting more and more lackluster, cheaper and cheaper.

If your looking to get a harry potter wand, this is a great place to start. I have had my wand for a while now, and it is very nice. It is crafted very nicely, and comes in a beautiful box(lookes like the one from ollivanders... velvet inside)the wand its self seems to be ceramic.The deatail is AMAZING!It looks so real.The quality is very, VERY good.Noble Collection really out did there selves. If your thinking about getting a wand, this is well worth your money! Hope this helps!(it shipped fast too)

we ordered our son a harry potter wand because our daughter wanted a hermoine wand and he would feel silly to ask for one too. what a hit! the box is just like it came from Olivander's and the imangination he uses to play with it as he casts spells is really neat(he remembers them all).

Anything I've ever bought that came from Noble Collection has been great. As a toy, this would be sturdy and not easily break if a child played with it. For me as an adult, it's a great collector's item.

This wand comes in a beautiful box made of a material like leather, and is wrapped in a red velvet case in the inside. the wand has AMAZING detail and and is made of resin (resin: a material that feels like wood but is not) I would reccomend this to anyone with an intrest in harry potter.

This wand is made by the Noble collection. It is resin, not plastic and is meant to be a collectible, not a toy. I wouldn't recommend it for a child. It is an identical replica of the wand used in movie five. I bought the Hermione wand made by Noble for my niece. It is gorgeous!

I got this Harry Potter Wand for my son's birthday. He LOVED it! it is a collector item and he is old enough to understand that it isn't to be played with outside of the house. It's nice shape and feel, realistic. He hasn't gone a day without bringing it out of the box and pretending he's Harry Potter! I will probably look into getting the other characters' wands.

I ordered this as a gift for someone who's a Potter fanatic and I must say, those who left glowing reviews must've received something entirely different than what I did. The box is nice, the packaging is impressive looking, but the wand itself looks NOTHING like the one in the photo - the one I recieved was tan colored - not brown at all. The thing looks like a butterscotch stick with a little stain slapped on here and there (very little stain, this thing is 95% just plain tan-colored). Worse still, it has a big trademark logo and lettering inked onto the wand itself that cannot be removed - it's printed along the wand near the handle and is VERY noticable. Worse still, as others have stated, this wand feels extremely fragile; almost like it's made out of glass, not resin. I was actually scared I'd break it getting it in and out of the box - this wand will not hold up to much of any handling. The reviews of children playing with them or casting spells with them must've recieved something very different. I guarantee you, if the wand I recieved was waved back and forth like a conductor's baton, it would snap off at the handle in very quickly.

VERY unimpressed and disappointed in this product, especially for the money spent. I didn't have time to return it and ask for one that actually was brown, so, that's my experience. This thing is a piece of junk.

This wand is amazing. I did not get it from this site specifically but it still works and it is the same and if you are a true Harry Potter fan you will love and worship this toy.
