Meet the HARVEYS, husband and wife Dana and Melanie Harvey. In March 1997, while installing seatbelts into their 1950 Buick, they had the idea of making Melanie a matching handbag. Everyone loved hers so much that they decided to make more. They started making them in their one car garage in California but quickly outgrew it. They've since expanded to a 12,000 ft2 design studio in Santa Ana, California where every SEATBELTBAG is lovingly built to exact specifications. The Harveys are committed to producing a bag of superior quality using the finest and most durable materials available. For the price, I was hoping this cute wristlet might have an interior zip pocket and/or 2-3 credit card slots. Instead, it only has a single card slot. Nothing else. It's lovely, but when I need a wristlet to go out on the town, I need something with some degree of organization, so I can easily find my driver's license, credit card, cash, and lipstick. Unfortunately, this wristlet is too small to fit my wallet, so I'd have to carry this plus my wallet separately in order for it to work. Most Harveys bags have decent organization - this one sadly does not, so I returned it. It is a bit heavy, so it's perhaps not the type of bag you'd carry in another bag, unless you like to add weight. It's really pretty and super durable like all other Harveys bags, but if you need an organized wristlet, look elsewhere.
