I received the HDMI cable the same time as I ordered another to compare the two. They were in different price catergories. The 2m Promo being less expensive performed flawlessly for my HD XBOX 360 experience.

Wow, I can't believe that finding the right HDMI cable was the most difficult part of my new TV purchase! Anyone who has typed in "HDMI cable 1.4a" through Amazon search has seen a mass of confusing results, and even though these are supposedly 1.4a results, most sellers refrain from stating that their cables meet the 1.4a standard, or state in the details that the cable is only 1.4 or lower, or users complain that the cable is advertized as 1.4a, but they received a lower quality cable, or you go to the sellers website only to find that the advertized price is for a lower quality cable and you have to pay much more for 1.4a, etc...

Well, after searching late into the night in a frantic effort to get a cable that would work with the new TV I frantically ordered to replace one that just died on me, I finally found these cables, and the advertized price and quality seemed too good to be true! These actually said 1.4a and not simply "1.4" or "latest standard" or "supports 3D". The only discouraging item was after I placed the order I discovered that the company is in the UK (I'm in the US), and it was estimated to be 1 to 1 1/2 month for me to get the cables (the TV was going to be delivered within a week). However, I was not about to search again, so I left the order alone. Happy to say that exactly one week later, the cables arrived! The cables themselves are unmarked, but each came with a sheet of paper certifying the 1.4a standard, and they work flawlessly so far on my DVR, Sony 3D Blu-ray player and XBox.

I have not had a chance to try out the 3D capabilities of the TV (I suspect I will be getting 3D glasses for Christmas), but you simply can't beat the quality of these cables at this incredibly low price!
