I purchased this product to relay a small corner area of carpeting. I was pleased to find an inexpensive tool to do the job at less cost than hiring a professional carpet layer. Good solution for a small job.

When I need to do some adjusting on my carpets I went out to Lowes and bought a carpet kicker. They had only one model and it was $90! I was stuck so I bought it. Then I saw this one on Amazon and for 1/3 of the price decided to give it a try. You know what? I like this one better than the $90 one. The padding is a little thicker and kicking area larger to it doesn't hurt my knee as much. Now I don't know if the padding on the rubber will wear out with pro day-do-day use but for the homeowner I think this model is fine. It grabs the carpet find too.

I called the local rent center and they wanted to rent the same thing for $15 a day. So I figured I would just purchase it instead, it got the job done.. I actually think it's better quality then the rental one. So next time we put down carpet I don't have to rent one, I own it. Thumbs up.

This product is exactly what it was advertised to be. I am still surprised at the good price. It has held up well since I started using it. I don't know of anything I could do to improve it.

Excellent product, good price. I wish rental would have been more reasonable. Now I have yet another tool I will rarely use taking up space in my garage.

Not a fancy as my old "Roberts" that was stolen but does just as good a job, maybe better. Of course my old Roberts was getting old. Not as easy to change the length of it but works just fine once you get the hang of it. It is made in China, if that bothers you, but what is not made in china these days. For the price it is a great deal.

This product performs as advertised. It was cheaper even with the shipping than I could purchase a similiar product in my area. I have used the product a couple of times and have been pleased with it's performance.

This product (with the help of a homemade power carpet stretcher) allowed me to restretch 5 rooms of carpet in my home. The padding is not as nice as you'd find on commercial kickers, but you can't beat the price if this tool will be used infrequently. The kicker grabs the carpet extremely well. This allows you to set it very close to your trim, which helps the carpet attach to the tack strip properly.

The construction of the item is made of metal and Thick Metal Spikes and Ridges + the packaging is kinda crappy but for 30 bucks its worth it.

I have been pretty new to Amazon with this buy of the Carpet Kicker being the 3rd purchase. I'd searched locally at the Lowes for one to no avail...did finally find a couple different ones for close to $100. I only needed one to kick in 1 room of carpet and was so happy to find one here on Amazon for 1/4 of that price. I even received it days before I was scheduled to. This was a great product for a great price!!! Thanks Amazon!
