This mic is great for travel and great for my vista laptop that has the mic port in the front. Easy to travel with too. The sound quality is pretty good. Great if you are video chatting with someone. It does pick up noise from my TV when I use it so that's why I gave it 4 stars. There is a flexible mic that is a lot taller and has a noise cancelling feature that is the same price but better quality. I would recommend buying that one over this, but this one can be placed in your pocket and it wont be very awkard. It's about as long as the a laptop mouse touch pad.

Works perfectly with Skype on my old HP laptop. Sensitive enough to pick the voice clearly without picking up the ambient noise that much.

I bought this mic about a week ago, but it's just a piece of junk. It doesn't pick up the sound if you dont speak directly to the mic. I mean you should put your mouth in front of the mic and shout otherwise people you talk to dont hear you and keep asking what did you say. In short I dont recoomend this mic to anybody.

This microphone records, but you have to scream in the microphone for it to pick up anything. This is no good and it doesnt work good AT ALL!! don't buy this. This is a waste of your money

I had ordered this, because for some reason, my webcam didn't come with a mic. I was looking for something inexpensive, but also small, since I have a laptop. I didn't need anything that was honking huge nor did I want to spend a lot of money on it. I found this mic and it works awesome and everything is great! I love it!

It's small, lightweight & very convenient. The perfect mini microphone I have been searching for my Skype & Yahoo Messenger Call. It's so easy to bring around with me. I just store it inside my laptop bag. Sometimes I even carry it with me inside my pocket if I use it frequently. Great device for a small price to pay! :-)

Perfect for Skype. I use it about one to two feet away from my face at my desk and everyone I talk to on it says they can hear me fine. Highly suggest for such a low price.

I tried using this for Skype as well as a microphone for my laptop. It's useless. Unless you're two feet away from it, all it picks up is mumbles.

My old laptop did not come with webcam or mic. I bought this so I could use it on Gmail Chat. I usually use this when I am in a hotel room. The mic works well if I am speaking within 2 feet of it, and the volume start to drop off outside of that radius.

I purchased this mic because the mic built into my laptop picks-up too much of the speaker, fan & HD noise. This mic works great with my laptop eliminating the previously noted issues. The only negative is that something loosened-up after a couple of weeks & I must keep the laptop still or something within the mic assembly rattles. Another plus is that I use it to skype when at a remote computer without a microphone or web cam. This mic enables any computer with a front Mic connector, internet connection & speakers to function with skype!
