OK, so it's a really cheap product so what am I complaining about, right? Well, I wanted to get all 7 functions in the one unit ON PURPOSE so I can reduce the weight of items to carry in a backpack.
The compass on this unit does not work properly. The compass card is a little too big for the housing and touches the sides of it when trying to spin; so it gets stuck and won't spin regardless of how you try to balance it out and get it working. The mirror is the size of a nickel; could be used I guess but don't know for what. Whistle works fine, magnifying glass is also size of nickel but I've lit fires with it so it's ok. Light works great but cannot have battery replaced.
I'm looking for another lightweight unit where everything works but will be carrying this one until I do.
