This is quite possibly one of the neatest pens ever made and look at the price, what a steal. Hard to believe I even got it for less elsewhere. The pen is all metal, works great and has a solid feel to it. Plus it's a great looking pen. Check out my photos on the product page, under Customer Images.

I have had this pen close to two years now, and just put in the second set of battery's that came with it. If new battery's are needed Amazon carries them and they are quite inexpensive.

Let me explain it's features.
It comes in a hinged extremely solid snap close metal case, with a foam type insert to cradle the pen and the extra battery's.

It has a pen and a stylus that go in and out whith a twist of the pen. The pen has an extremely smooth writing medium tip point. The stylus works great to press all those tiny symbols on those hand held devices. I don't write an awful lot with this pen but I do write with it, and it still has ink after two years.

It has three light's
The first is on a metal flex tube pointing down to where you write. But it can be adjusted to any angle.
Next is a white light that comes out of the top, just a general look around light. Click again and its a UV light.
The last is a red laser light that also comes out of the top. Great as a handy pointer for presentations. Or what I use it for, that's to entertain my Cat. " He loves it ".

These lights are all bright for there size, and are operated by push button's on the side of the upper case.

I don't know where you would find a well made pen such as this one with all these features for any where near this price. It' a Buy.

I bought this as a gift for someone, but after receiving it I couldn't help playing with it. It is very sturdy and seems well designed and constructed. It feels pretty hefty and the various lights and laser pointer are good quality. The pen writes well. It came with three spare batteries. I was sad to give it away, but the recipient loves it.

This pen was very cool when I first got it. The description was even really nice on amazon and it turned out to be how it was described. But, once that light is bent it's hard to get it straight again which is annoying as it can get in the way of writing. Also the grip isn't nice so it is not comfortable if you use it for work or school in tasks requiring lots of writing. Once the lights went off in the building and I was using it to write, I kept the light on for half an hour. The next day the laser barely lit because the energy got drained so I guess they need to put a more efficient battery. But the first time I got the pen, the laser was very strong and went long distances. After that incident, it only went a meter. Cool gift for a kid but careful with the laser, it is very strong and if it shines onto the eye it can cause detrimental damage.

I love the design, style, the feel & just about everything, except that the red laser is too weak to be effective.
I bought it to have a one in all tool for teaching, the laser was not strong enough for my class to see it. even if I was five feet away from the screen it would not read consistently. The laser could use an overhaul. It needs more intensity for anything in bright or dim light.
I read the other reviews here and other places, I mostly agree, but I have loved the pen, it flows well & has not run out.
The other functions, all work well, & it has been a conversation starter. (I didn't expect that).
Enjoy it, but just think of the price, it seems like everyone has had one component go bad, so it looks like you get what you pay for, you might get a winner of a partial dud.
I give it a 1 star due to the fact that if I pay for a main feature (for me), it should work, and it was not able to perform. I feel you should get something when you spend any amount of money. I needed a laser & did not get one.

The overall design/look of the "all in one" pen was nice but the construction was horrid. First, you can't even replace the ink cartridge on it. So once the ink runs out, or dries up, you basically have to buy another pen because you can't buy a refill. The laser is weak, but that is to be expected from a device sharing 3 tiny cell batteries among an LED light, black light and laser pointer. The pen is for all intents disposable because it's ink cartridge can't be replaced and a pen without ink is useless. If the price wasn't so high, and shipping incredibly high, I might consider buying 5 of these and tossing them as the batteries and ink runs out. But as it is, price wise, not recommended unless you want to buy a disposable pen for the price of something that should last.

The Good. The all in one pen is very useful as a LED light and laser pointer. Laser worked but could have better focus and intensity but I guess it's expected to be at this price. It has a stylus that should work with pressure activated PDA screens.

The Bad. The pen needs major work. I tried to use it for a week but gave up. It's sitting in my drawer now. It writes like a 25 cent pen. It is NOT smooth at all. It's rough. At times, it feels like its going to tear the paper.

The Ugly. None as nothing failed.

Verdict. Average. Will not buy again for myself or another professional. However, for the low price will buy for a teenager or kids to play with at high school or below. College students will not likely want to use the cheap pen.
