This is a very poor quality product. The camera does not even appear to be 5MP to me.
Starting with the badly translated manual (a folded piece of paper) to the missing CD rom (which is repeatedly mentioned in the manual) this was a disappointing purchase all around.

The box mentions that there is a 2GB card provided; there is none.
The box also mentions that there is a 1GB card provided (yes.... that's right... on one side it says 2GB on another 1 GB); there is no card whatsoever in the box.

The box also mentioned the camera will take up to 16GB card; it does not and if you try anything larger than 8GB be aware that it may burn. It burned my 16GB Sandisk card.

There is conflicting information in the manual about the size of the card it would take (4gb in one paragraph and 8gb in another) which is different still from what is written on the outside of the box.

There are no drivers with the camera.

There is no way to configure the resolution of the pictures (since there is no CD with any drivers or software whatsoever).

There is no way to program the date and time, which (whether you want it or not) appear on every picture you take.

I wish I had something positive to say ... but I would be lying.

Oh ... I got it.... It's very small ... about the size of a stick of gum. That's good.
But unless you want to chew on it .... it's pretty much useless for anything else.

I realize it's only $30.00, but you are better off putting that $30 towards the purchase of a better product, which you can actually use.

The camera works perfectly. I fly model airplanes and bought the camera to take flying videos. It's small and light and works well in the air. The service from the vendor was quick and excellent. I'm having a great time with it. Uses are limited only by imagination.

Camera arrived today with conflicting information all over the box and the poorly translated manual. No software included in the manual, and several hours of searching online did not yield any downloadable drivers. I am stuck with the incorrect time/date stamp.

If the camera icluded the software and came with a better manual, it would be a much better product. Unfortunately, there is no way to use it as a webcam without the software, and there is no way to put the correct time/date stamp on the images/video.

I am disappointed.

Well... I really suspected as much considering I was buying cheap electronics from Amazon, but I was still rather disappointed when I received the camera and it wouldn't record for longer than 1 second intervals, and the quality rendered the resulting image or video completely unintelligible. I haven't contacted Amazon or the seller with regards to this issue, and really don't see any reason to argue with the seller over $30 or so minus return shipping. I've cut my losses, and to prospective buyers -- just ignore this here item and go to a legitimate seller and find a piece of equipment that you know will work. Purchasing this camera is a mere waste of money.

I was impressed with the video quality of this little device. Just as good as my Nikon Coolpix if not better. I hooked it up to my Mac and my PC at work. Shows up like a flash drive where you can drag the videos and photos to a folder. Use it as a flash drive if you want. If this thing lasts for 6 months, I'll get another one. Keep it handy for those times when you don't have your good camera, but need to take a video or photo (car accidents, UFOs, bigfoot, etc). Go to YouTube and type in "Gum Cam" to see the video quality of vids uploaded by owners.

We couldn't get this item to work properly after an Hour of trying. It also came without the Disc which didn't help. The Instructions were vague & the sentence structure/grammer made it worse. The Co. DID supply a Full Refund.

These mini DV cameras work ok. Very sensitive to lighting so best indoors, audio not bad. The clip on the back is very useful making it easy to put on a pocket or hook on an object for recording. Repetitive use measurably decreases battery life so these wear out pretty fast. Recommend fully discharging them before recharging to extend battery life as much as possible because the battery is sealed and once it is gone, this becomes a throw-away item. Wish they had understandable instructions on how to set the time code in the device because I have yet to be successful, and finally gave up and put up with images with totally irrelevant date/time displayed, only useful for determining length of the clip. I have purchased seven so far, and two quit working after one or two uses, so quality control is an issue, but then again, they are really cheap....

Realize why this item was $20 when others were more expensive. Arrived without an SD card, which I had to buy separately. Worked well when I got that. Beware.

This product does work, but the picture and sound quality aren't that great. Also the instruction manual and using the unit are not described well at all. Setting the date (which is shown on all pictures and videos) is almost an impossible task.
