for everyone that thinks buying this will allow them to use their computer on their tv, BE WARNED.

your video card must already support analog signals (the stuff your tv can see), so simply feeding your digital signal through a cable into your tv by itself won't work. you need to buy a converter box (search "VGA to RCA | S-VIDEO | VGA Converter" in google or yahoo). it's more expensive, but it gets the job done.

Look the cable is not meant for you to hook your PC to a TV or a projector. It's meant to hook a video output device that uses S-video (like say a game system) to a VGA monitor...that's it. Nothing more, nothing less

The cable cords were very short. Also, the cable that is inserted into the computer slips out easily because it does not use the screw down feature. But the product does work.

this product is what u see a cable NOT A CONVERTER an it works fine with a converter i bought mine to plug into my mini laptop to use my pico mini projector an my laptop has a video graphics card but still had to buy a converter

I needed to save a little money and use a computor monitor as a "Flat Screen" TV this little baby plugged right in and gave me a great quality picture for 1/4 of the price.

I had a spare 19" monitor hanging around and there was a deal for a wireless security camera. So I picked this unit up and installed it on the monitor and works great no problems. I am very happy with this set up.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it got here super quick And I had no issues.

I'd like to point out the desciption in no way states that this is for analog composite, or analog S-video output to be used with any other video card other than the one specified as Matrox. The Matrox is a brand of video editing equipment that makes use of breakout cables for audio and video. For editing, most of these cable are for video to go into the computer, not out; since there is no point to use analog videotapes, when one can burn a dvd direct to an internal burner. People really need to read more closely. If your home computer does not feature any Matrox hardware or software, which you likely won't, leave this cable alone. Besides, you can buy computers with built-in cards designed for video output from the right type of video/graphic card. True the cable doesn't do the convtering to analog video out, the video card does. Just saying.

Quality product, but the description was slightly misleading as to the function of this cable.
