HDE (TM) USB Diffuser - Scented Oil Aromatherapy

This cheaply developed USB diffuser is very wide and obstructs the use of another USB port on your computer. It also comes with very STINKY oil. However, do not throw out because you will need the wand for your oil in the container. The device gets very hot...would not leave unattended do not know if it is safe.

I once had a class, that in essence taught you skills, to be a successful student. one of the fundamental ideas behind being a good student, was to have a good study environment. my instructor recommended using specific oil scents to use while your studying and then apply that scent to your clothes, or a tissue, etc before taking a test for a "memory-recall boost". Well being on the go, in coffee shops, or in the library, it's kind of hard to pull out an oil diffuser, and the scented candles, until i seen this convenient little diffuser!

With this small piece, i wasn't expecting it to diffuse my whole house or even my room, i just wanted it to diffuse my 'study area. It worked very well and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it DID diffuse to my whole room. It does exactly what its supposed to do and that is HEAT the oil (the previous reviewer was upset because it got hot. Why, I don't know. Maybe they thought this was some form of a 'reed diffuser'?)

The oil it came with didn't smell all that pleasant; kind of like a chemical smell with juicy fruit gum? BUT, i didn't even know it came with oil, so i am looking at as a nice courtesy and its not apart of the rating. the USB is slightly wider that necessary, but didn't block other ports. Finally, you don't need to keep the wand from the oil it came with to fill your diffuser, I feel very comfortable just adding a drop straight from the bottle onto the diffuser area.

overall I am happy with the product... there are definitely better diffusers out there... i even think a fairly popular USB one, BUT for the size, you can't beat it.
