Product Image is wrong,

This review is from: HDMI to DVI Adapter w/Gold Plated Connector (Male to Female) (Electronics)
Please note that this connector is an HDMI to DVI-D adapter. The image on Amazon shows an HDMI to DVI-I adapter which is what I was expecting. The quality of the adapter is fine, but it was not what I wanted or needed. The shipper BargainCell was fast at delivery and it arrived before the expected delivery window.

Great product for price,
This review is from: HDMI to DVI Adapter w/Gold Plated Connector (Male to Female) (Electronics)
I purchased this product in order to hook up my DVI monitor to my PC computer. My computer has an integrated graphics card and only has ports for VGA and HDMI. The adaptor works exactly as it needs to in converting my DVI-D monitor input to my motherboard. The shipping was very fast and it does exactly what it needs to do for the amazing price. The one "con" is that I paid 30 cents for it. Now, it only costs 11.

NOT Standard DVI,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: HDMI to DVI Adapter w/Gold Plated Connector (Male to Female) (Electronics)
This adapter is not all that it is cracked up to be. Most people would like this adapter for the reason of hooking up a device that takes DVI as an input (or VGA with a DVI adapter; monitors would be the usual device) and to be able to hook it up to a device that has HDMI as an output. In my case, my monitor is not the newest nor the most expensive, and thus it only supports the usual VGA/DVI inputs that are standard of the computer industry. I wanted to hook my PS3 up to my monitor, but it only outputs HDMI, A/V or other less popular output formats. This adapter was the solution, or so I thought...THE PROBLEM IS, This adapter supports DVI-D, NOT DVI-I!!! The industry standard, so I've seen, is DVI-I, and so this adapter will not work for most people. Look at your cables and adapters, compare what they look like to online images (such as the ones at [...] and check to see if you indeed have DVI-I, because this adapter WILL NOT WORK for you if that's the case. I, for one, still cannot hook my PS3 up to my monitor. Cheers, Jason
