Please note that this connector is an HDMI to DVI-D adapter. The image on Amazon shows an HDMI to DVI-I adapter which is what I was expecting. The quality of the adapter is fine, but it was not what I wanted or needed. The shipper BargainCell was fast at delivery and it arrived before the expected delivery window.

I purchased this product in order to hook up my DVI monitor to my PC computer. My computer has an integrated graphics card and only has ports for VGA and HDMI. The adaptor works exactly as it needs to in converting my DVI-D monitor input to my motherboard.

The shipping was very fast and it does exactly what it needs to do for the amazing price.

The one "con" is that I paid 30 cents for it. Now, it only costs 11.

Don't believe the hype; all connectors are equal. This thing cost me maybe four dollars with shipping, and works perfectly transmitting the HDMI-out signal from my laptop into the DVI-in of an external display. Not much more to say. Two thumbs up!

Fast delivery. Worked as expected. Hook to an Acer monitor from a Panasonic SA-BA300 with my computer. No need to buy an expensive HDTV now.

Couldn't believe the price was so cheap! Works perfectly! I use it on my PS3 to connect it to my monitor through my DVI input. Best buy on Amazon ever!

The Male HDMI -> Female DVI-D adapter is exactly as shown (despite some of the earlier reviews, the image correctly shows the product). It feels solid, and works. What more could you ask for? I've been chained to my laptop's 11" 1366x768 display since my desktop died the true death just before Christmas, so I am quite relieved to be able to use my 22" 1680x1050 monitor again. The shipper, WOWParts, was a little slower than I'd hoped, but the adapter arrived within the projected window. I guess I'm just spoiled by Amazon's normally blistering fulfillment speed, and even if it did take a few days longer to get here, it sure beats spending $35 at B***B** for an overpriced piece of plastic and metal. Buy with confidence, and save -- just make sure this is exactly the adapter you need first.

I bought 3 of these to use it at a conference video wall. Similar product was sold in local stores for $30 a pop. I paid less than $2 for each of these. They worked great.

Bought this product to attach my LCD to my new PC. The monitor has a DVI connector however the PC only has HDMI and VGA connectors. This product was just what I needed to connect my monitor to the HDMI connection on the PC.

The only drawback is using this method, and this has nothing to do with this particular product, is that an HDMI port has no ability to secure the adapter in place. So this big adapter is hanging in the HDMI port and there is a potential that it could get knocked out. It hasn't happened to me yet, and it wouldn't be a big deal if it did, but it still something that you should consider.

As a person who still has AT to PS/2 and serial port to PS/2 adapters, I know adapters, and this is most certainly an adapter!

...no, but really, it's an HDMI to DVI adapter. Remember that you cannot attach a DVI to VGA adapter on to it. Otherwise it works fine.

My only issue is it's fairly thick. Rather than being just the minimum thickness that it needs to be (the thickness of the DVI plug + 1MM), the insulation jacket comes around the DVI plug.

This is actually slightly thicker than my DVI cable plug. I noticed this when my laptop (Alienware M11x R3) was being held up off of a surface by this adapter. Be careful with this!
