Purchased this cable a year ago and used it to replace a VERY expensive "monster" cable purchased at chain store. It works better than the more expensive one - firm connection, thinner "cord" etc. All in all, a great product.

Don't wast your money buying expensive cables. They all work the same for digital data. They just carry One's and Zeros in computer speak and they either work or not. I have been watching high def movies on a 60 inch TV from my laptop and they work GREAT!

I was slightly skeptical at the quality of this product upon viewing the price. However, I purchased anyway and have never had any problems hooking my laptop to a flatscreen. True, it isn't gold plated, but who cares? An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. It just plain works or doesn't work.
