This cable does exactly as promised. HDMI on one side and DVI-D on the other side. The ten feet is good if you have some space between your setups.

Some notes for buyers:
1. To get HDMI video on your monitor through DVI-D, your monitor must be HDCP compliant.
2. This connection only gives you digital video. You need to output sound through another means.

Works just like the 3' long one I got from Best Buy for $75.. I guess that is where the make their money.

The cable was exactly as described. It came really fast considering I am deployed to Kuwait. Great item. I use it for connection between my projector and my laptop and PS3. Both provide accurate reporduction. I recommend this cable if you are looking for a cable at the right price. IT WORKS!

Arrived quickly and in good condition, however the construction material was a bit on the lesser expensive side (which is justified by the extremely low price). THe only issue is that the cable sheathing tends to tear and slice if wired around hard corners or cut holes.

I've worked in retail for too many years. To not name names I have worked for a major electronics store that has now gone the way of the dinosaur, and also their main (still surviving) competitor.

In every place the fact is the same. Almost no money is made on the electronic device itself, be it the PC, TV, iPod, etc. All of the money gained is from the accessories, namely the cables (not to mention their "extended warranties").

Of coarse you want the cables when you buy your new device, they know this so they sell them at the highest price they can.

This cable, as well as the other "bargain" cables I've purchased online have all worked just as well as those other "high end/name brand" cables.

And just to touch on some of the other reviews. If it isn't working right you're either doing it wrong or you happened to get the less than 1 percent defect. So either research your issue or ask for a replacement.

I received my cable today, and it worked great right off the bat. The improvement from Component to DVI is AWESOME! I also hooked up the L/R outputs from the HD Cable Box to the DVI Audio input (Red/White RCI output to mini Stereo input) on the TV and, low and behold, Dolby Digital Sound! My 5-Year old 1080i Hitachi Plasma never looked and/or sounded better. What a great deal, thanks Amazon

The product works with no problem. Great buy for a low cost. I have connected PC to TV and watching movies in the big screen now.
