This hdmi cable has been great. I use it for my ps3 and blurays and dvds and games look awesome on my 52" samsung lcd at 120hz. GREAT VALUE! this cable is plenty long and inexpensive. I would recommend it to anyone. Don't buy the 100 dollar cables from a local retailer. You are going to get the same video quality with this or similar cables.

Does what its job with a bargain price. There is no need to get a more expensive cable if the cheaper one does what it needs to do.

There is nothing remarkable about this cable, it looks and acts like your average run of the mill HDMI cable... it does its job like many other HDMI cables will do...It's a safe bet if you want an inexpensive discount cable for a good price, you probably could find another bargain cable cheaper that may work just as well, and will have a similar build quality but why take the chance when this one is being recommend and has a great price....

I've been using these cables for about 2 months and they have worked fine on mostly 1080i content. I use it on an HD cable box (8300HD Scientific Atlanta) and an HDMI compatible homemade HTPC both hooked to a Sony Bravia 52" 120Hz TV.
The only problem I've seen from time to time on the cable box is a somewhat significant stutter that starts randomly (often just after tuning to a channel but sometimes after watching it for a while) and can only be stopped by changing the channel away and back. It is hard to determine if this is due to the cable itself or a fluke in the cable box as I'm not completely sure what can go wrong here. However, I've always been able to get great HD 1080i/720p reception after the channel change so it is only a minor inconvenience. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase. |
