This book is a wonderful account of a breast cancer survivor. I am blessed to know this author as a personal friend. She is a very meek and humble lady who at no time voiced any complaints while walking on her journey in the shoes that God provided her. Needless to say that because of this I was surprised when I read her story and realized the severity of the struggles that she went through. This is a great testimony of strength and encouragement to anybody going through any type of life struggle.

I am a breast cancer survivor, and an American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery volunteer. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It will be a guide and message of hope to those just beginning their breast cancer walk. I am a 20 year survivor, and I wish I had been able to read this honest and encouraging book when I was diagnosed. Long-time conquerors of breast cancer will also find this book to be an inspiration. I have already given my book to another "lop-sided sister" and I plan to purchase another one to offer other ladies on my Reach to Recovery visits. Mary H.

I started reading the book and couldn't put it down. Being a survivor of ovarian and breast cancer, I felt as though I was walking with the author through her journey. I read through it twice and it touched my heart so much. The book is so inspirational for not just cancer survivors but everyone. I believe that God truly touched the author and gave her this gift to share with others. God truly does provide the shoes as we walk through our cancer journey. I felt like I was on the road with the author experiencing some of the same feelings, crying, and praising God along the way. What a truly inspirational book. June Anderson, Mercersburg, PA.
