Sheryl has done it again! In this book, she combines her own prose with contributions of mothers from around the Globe. Her style in editing creates a warmth and flow that elicits chuckles, sighs and tears at all the right times.

Having purchased Sheryl's works before, this was a "must have" on my list. In my opinion it's better than "Chicken Soup" for my soul!

I have three contributions in this book (but don't get royalties, so this isn't about lining my pockets): my own mother story is bittersweet; the one on women who mother their pets is nostalgic; and, the one on adoptive mothers talks about courage.
Fact is, I'd give this wonderful book as a gift - and I have many, many times, and would continue to do so even if none of my stories were included. In fact, I still get thank you notes from mothers I gifted a couple of years ago. The music CD makes this offering an even better buy and keepsake. If you are a mother buy it for yourself or put it on your wish list. If you want a different gift that will be used and cherished, this is one gift worth considering. Great stories, touching poems and inspiring quotes.
