Although mentioned, there is NOT a cigarette lighter adapter with the product, and obtaining one is difficult and expensive. The shorter model that is available does come as a cigarette lighter plug in.

The light is an excellent product. Well made, sturdy and extremely easy to use, however, the incandescent bulb it uses is very difficult to find. It does come with a bulb, but finding a replacement is going to be almost impossible. If the maker or Amazon could specify a source, the light would have received my highest rating.

Great product, works well. I use it in my Suzuki Samurai for off-road rallying and it is great. The light does not shine into the driver's eyes and is very bright for the navigator. It is so good that I purchased another one for my side!

This is the toughest light I have ever owned. I work at night from my truck and had gone thru dozens of maplights, had to justify the price in my mind, and I sure an glad that I spent the money. If you need a light that will last, you can't beat a Hella!!

Product description and even the box itself says it comes with a red lens. The first one I received did not have one, the second one after I returned the first did not have one. Amazon refunded me 50% and let me keep one of them, also said they would change the product description.

Have not wired in the light yet, but it looks good.

Description clearly states "Connects to cigarette lighter/12-Volt port." It does not. This is the second one I have received and it can only be permanently mounted. 3 stars for the misleading description, the product however seems good. I'll update review once I get it mounted and wired.

Well Amazon really dumped on me with this item... really first time I think Amazon is guilty of falsifying information. THERE IS NO CIGARETTE LIGHTER ATTACHMENT even though it says twice in the material that it connects via cigarette lighter. Was supposed to be a Christmas present for my wife... thanks a lot Amazon! Very disgusted. I guess I should have read the reviews!!!

Glad I found this light - My navigating days by flashlight are over - No struggling with the plug in (cigarette lighter) type falling out all of the time!

This is the second Halogen Lamp I've ordered on Amazon; the product is excellent BUT...this time around, I paid for Next Day Air via UPS and the product STILL has not been delivered. Obviously, this is not the fault of Amazon, it's due to typical UPS miserable delivery services.

We'll now see just how good Amazon backs up their customers regarding situations like this when a refund for shipping is requested.

A great map light. The included red filter is easy on the eyes at night. If you are looking for a replacement bulb then search for a 12v 6w BA9s base Halogen bulb.
