I just received this cleaver and I like the way it feels in my hand. It cuts clean and the cleaver is well made. I am not an expert but I know what I like. I recommend this cleaver highly and I give it thumbs up!

it never fails me. i have had it for 2 years and i have yet to sharpen it, and i use it every day on all kinds of food.

We've had this cleaver for a few years now. It is made in China, with German stainless steel. Stamped, not forged. It works well for for veggies. But the Amazon description is incorrect when it comes to chopping through bones. This cleaver is NOT designed for bones.
