Not Sure It's Orthodox Catholicism
on September 13, 2013
At first I thought it was a wonderful book and very insightful; in fact, I ordered five copies to give to friends. However, as I read further, especially about the author, I had grave concerns regarding its authenticity. I did not find an Imprimatur and asked my parish priest what he thought of it. He said he would be very leery of it because of the author. I must say that Amazon and the seller were wonderful in allowing me to return the books I bought -- I really did not expect a refund and had I not received it, I would have thrown the five copies purchased away. It is a very thought provoking book and as I said above, gave me a couple of genuine insights that I believe may be true. I would advise anyone considering this book to first ask an orthodox Catholic priest if he knows anything about the author or Maria Simma. At least go to the back of the book and read the comments by Nicky Eltz - they made me question his mental state. I wish I could be more positive.
