I thoroughly enjoyed this CD! This is the perfect soundtrack for enjoying a romantic evening or just relaxing with a fine Merlot. I found the music to be upbeat and authentic. "The Here and Now" reflects Steve and John's appreciation of timeless classics, and I really enjoyed their interpretation of the various songs. In essence, I highly recommend this CD for music lovers who truly appreciate music!

Steve's cd is the perfect complement to a Sunday morning with someone special whiling away time reading the paper and enjoying a cup of coffee. The songs are upbeat yet relaxing. The "duet" between Steve's vocals and John accompanying on the piano is refreshing. There is no extra noise to get in the way of the two fine musicians. It feels as though you are enjoying a private session with friends. The cd beckons you to hum or sing along. I have given it to 2 close friends and my mother, knowing they too would enjoy it as much as I have.
