I love lattes and while I had a cheap flotther before, it died so I needing to replace it when I saw this in the Lightning Deal. Five stars because I love what it does and it does it well. I can make the foam as thick as I want it and its fast. It comes with a stand that I can leave it at the counter next to my coffee maker so it's very handy.

One word of advice, which is why I think my old frothier died is that I used to lay it down after rinsing it and maybe water got into the motor. The stand makes it stand with the motor down so I always make sure to dry it and do a quick spin to get rid of all the water before storing to prevent water from running into the motor.

It comes with batteries ready to use so I really recommend this to anyone wanting the froth but not quite ready to buy a latte machine maker just yet.

I recently received the Milk Frother with Stand. I've used it several times since receiving it and found it to be a really great little tool. It was super easy to use and wonderfully easy to store; either on the stand on the counter or in a drawer. It's really light and I'd say it's mistake proof. I tried it on cold milk and hot milk and both frothed up equally well and it was YUMMY!!!
The one mistake you don't want to make is hitting the "on" switch when you're rinsing it off - WATER ALL OVER!!!

Can't help singing that old 80s tune, "Whip It," when I use my new frother! What a cool little tool - just stick it in the glass and it whips up a great latte in seconds. Want to clean it? Just rinse or stick it in soapy water for 10 seconds and presto - it's clean! Almost like magic! I'm a latte addict and this has cut my frothing time down to seconds in the a.m. I used to use a stand-alone frothing machine, but it took more time to clean up than it was worth. This little guy does the trick in seconds. I also tried using it to blend my protein drink and it worked like a charm. One of the other reviewers was complaining about storing it upside down in the stand (and they didn't even have the frother) - but I can tell you, it is dry in seconds after you take it out of the water, so I've not had any problems with liquid running down the handle. I would highly recommend the Aerolatte Milk Frother - so you too can, "Whip it Good!"

What a fun gadget to have in your kitchen, dorm room or on your travels. Very light weight and easy to use. This milk frother works well in both hot and cold beverages. It's quiet and easy to hold, only takes about 20 seconds to whip up the foam. I'm going to purchase one for every stocking this season!

I have a home Latte steam coffee machine.
It makes the best latte's just like at the coffee shops.
This little unit makes the same wonderful frothy milk.
I microwave the milk, slightly scalding it.
I whip the milk up and then add my coffee.
This unit is small but powerful.
If you like Latte's like me this is a must have item.
I may use it on sauces like Beurre Blanc to.

This item worked well at first and is convenient because you can use it right in the cup you are using. But it is flimsy. Within a week or so, it just died.

Don't get me wrong.. I love my frother and still use it to make wonderful coffee drinks, but next time I think I'll splurge and get one that doesn't... get moody.

When I first used it, it was smooth sailing. It whipped the hot milk up perfectly and I enjoyed my first home made latte with great pleasure. I loved my drink so much I decided to have another 20 minutes later. I grabbed the frother from its stand (I had washed and dried it according to the directions) and got ready to froth a second mug of hot milk. This time the frother acted up a bit.. maybe it didn't like being used so much? The spinning started slowing down, and just as I was ready to stop it and try and see what was wrong, it sped back up again. Then it stopped... and started again. I eventually got the milk to froth for my drink, but since then, it's been doing the same thing every time. I've tried turning it on all the way (where the switch locks into place) and it still changes speed, even stopping completely before starting up again.

I wouldn't say I regret my purchase.. I have been able to get the milk to froth each time while using my Aerolatte, and the color is adorable, and the stand is quite convenient... but having one that simply does what it's supposed to each and every time would be lovely in the future. For the money I spent on it (under 20), it's just fine, but if you want one that always works the same way every time (dependable.. that's the word I'm looking for!), spend a bit more on a nicer frother. I hope this helps!

I bought this for my husband to use for his protein drinks. He loves it! He told me there are no more clumps when he drinks it.

This little baby does a hands down, awesome job of frothing milk. If you want a frothy, perfectly foamy latte or cappuccino, this is the tool for you. I've been told by my granddaughter that I make the "best chocolate milk in the world" when I blend the milk and the chocolate syrup with my Aerolatte. This little gadget is worth every penny of its' moderate price! Seriously, just buy it. You won't be sorry!
