The cord from the wall to the converter broke - it seems the plastic cord is too rigid and cannot hold up to regular bending (for storage).

I bought this product, and less that five minutes after I plugged this into my computer I heard a popping sound and then smelled burning and the charger had burnt out. I am extremely disappointed and am going to contact amazon and try and get a refund. I dont know why that happened, but I took it into a computer repair shop and they said the charger was faulty.

Plugged it in. Got extremely hot then made a little fizz noise and it was dead. 15 minutes and it was done!!!!!

My sister isn't the most knowledgeable person with computers. So when she told me her computer wouldn't turn on, I assumed it was the charger. I looked at it, and it was... so I got this as a replacement.

Unreal, this charger is dead, makes a crackling noise when I plug it into the wall outlet!!!

What a waste of $17, I'm so disappointed!!!!

It worked for a month...

Then it died. The "power light" on the transformer comes on for 3 seconds as soon as it is plugged in, and then it shuts off. The laptop does not receive any power.

This adapter only lasted one month on my MSI Wind notebook. There is no power coming through between the adapter and the PC (broken cord, I assume). I checked it with another adapter and my notebook is not the problem. I later learned that other reviewers have had similar problems with broken adapter cords. Don't buy this adapter.

I used this power adapter for one hour before my netbook's screen darkened and an odd noise came from the adapter itself. I hurried to unplug it and noticed that it was already melting. I would not suggest buying this particular adapter.

I am just glad that I did not leave the house while my netbook was charging. I fear it could have caused some major damage if I had done so.

I did receive my shipment on time, and the adapter along with another item I purchased appeared to be in fine shape.

Stopped working after 13 days

it works brilliantly. but it does get overheated a little too easily for my taste.

This purchase only reinforces what I thought about the Atom N2XX series laptops; that they all use the same motherboard / motherboard specs. The power adapter I received only seemed familiar in two areas, where it plugs into the wall and where it plugs into the laptop, and for most of us, that's the only thing that matters. It works, the power supply portion of it is much smaller than the one that came with the Lenovo S10, but there's one thing that power adapter had over this, and that's length. This thing is seven (7) feet across. I think the previous one was about nine (9) feet. You might not think that's a big deal, but whenever I need to move this laptop with the cord in place I need to think about how I'm going to do it or possibly unplug it to another outlet. In conclusion, I gave this thing five stars because the purpose was to find a cheap replacement for my other power adapter which had worn so much at the end of the connector that it broke off, and caught on fire for a moment.
