This book was as advertised but I did not realize that this was the first edition rather than the second edition which is what I actually needed for the class. It was in good condition when I bought i.

I hate this book, it is horribly written! The concept of looking at history through the lens of creativity isn't bad, but the execution in this book is both shallow and boring. I had to read this for a class, and the time spent was a horrible waste. The only value this book adds to your education is the sources it cites after each chapter (which are really good books). Rather than read this publication, borrow it from a friend and take note of its bibliography to read actual history...

Format: Paperback
Pros:
Cheaper than most History Books because written at BYU by BYU professor
Very interesting view of history
Very easy to understand with interesting facts

Cons:
Poorly edited (lots of mistakes)
Poor graphical presentation (no color, too much text, little section division)
Only has a few color pictures in the middle of the book

Overall: An affordable and interesting book, but not the most readable or visually pleasing.

This book was in pretty good condition. The cover was in good condition just like it said. However, it didn't say the cover was disconnected as it was when I opened the package. Oh Well.
