I TESTED THIS SPEED LOADER ON MY COLT OFFICIAL POLICE REVOLVER 38 SPL.I USED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF AMMO WITH IT AND SO FAR FEDERAL 158 GR. LEAD ROUNDS FIT IT PERFECTLY,
HORNADAY 125 GR. HOLLOW POINTS WILL ALSO FIT IT GREAT.BUT SOME OF THE OTHER BRANDS LIKE PMC FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG FOR MY REVOLVER, WHEN LOADING.THE FIRST GEN. COLT DETECTIVE SPECIALS IS THE SAME WAY. HAVE ALSO NOTICED WHEN LOADING MY REVOLVER, THAT IF +P AMMO IS USED, IT WILL BE A LITTLE SNUG WHEN LOADING, AS WELL.
