Midwest Products' cork roadbed makes an excellent sound insulator. Glue it down on your layout surface before attaching your track to it. Use this cork roadbed under your left hand turnouts (except wye turnouts). HO scale. Features: Precut and easy to use; Excellent sound absorption; Beveled edges for a realistic appearance; and Fits under all brands of track. 2 lefts per package.

I thought this would blend well with HO track bed. But there does seem to be a bit of a hight difference and flexibility issue.
