The heater that I got works well when not on the thermostat settings. On the regular setting it heats a good sized room very well. On the thermostat settings, it either doesn't come on at all, or only stays on for a few minutes. I suspect that it is going by it's temperature, not the temperature of the room. I would suggest that them get rid of the color changing disk on the front and spend that money on a working thermostat.

The heater was fine for a few weeks but then it stopped working properly. It shuts off after 2-3 minutes of working(it is not overheating) then will not come back on for another 5-10 minutes. When it does come back on it shuts off again in 2-3 minutes time.

This heater turns off automatically way too fast (must be tripping overheat shut-off). Will not even run for more than 2-3 minutes at a time. It will then take about 5 minutes to cool down enough to turn back on. Go with something else unless you like your heat in extremely short bursts.
