I will not be ordering another because I can only assume it is poorly made.

I've been using it for over a week now and wow, this is a fantastic pressure cooker for a fantastic price. It was around 55 bucks at the time of purchase (which is about half the cost of its nearest stainless steel multi-purpose-cooker competitor).

So far, I've used it to make:

-Rice. Beautiful job! My old electric rice cooker is officially retired after this. It uses less water than conventional rice cooking methods and about 1/4 the time. My old rice cooker needed a ratio of 1 cup rice to 2+1/4 cups water for whole grain basmati (and about 40 minutes cooking time). This pressure cooker requires only about 1+3/4 cup water (to each cup of basmati) to achieves the same lovely cooked texture in about 13 minutes.

Frozen whole chicken. Yes really. I rubbed the bird down with a poultry seasoning and butter and put it in the pressure cooker. Came out tender, flavorful and fully cooked in 45 minutes. We had doubts, but double checked the inner temp with a thermometer. That bird was cooked!

Praise:
No scorching or burning issues at the bottom of the stainless inner pot.
No rusting or staining issues.
Very simple to use.
Programmed as well as manual setting options.
Warmer function (that can not be disabled.. if that is important to you).
It has a handy little steam-drip cup that hangs off the side.
Functioning is quiet.
Steam is sealed in so it does not fill your house/kitchen up with steam like a regular stovetop pressure cooker (we will be putting that thing with the camping equipment).
Inner steel pot and lid are dishwasher safe.

This is a great buy. It's so convenient and super fast. What used to take hours to cook for me is just now in minutes. It comes with a stainless steel bowl which is fantastic to use. There are some pre-set programs that I will never use but that's just me. I highly recommend buying this product. For the price that I bought it for, I can't complain. I saw other similar models that are over $100. I probably will buy another one for my sister for Christmas.

The cooker is great and I use it a lot but I wish there was a way to buy a replacement pot. One pot isn't enough when I'm trying to cook sides and a main entree at the same time. Also, the inner pot is starting to get marks stuff from my usage. Once the pot gets ruined how will I continue using the pressure cooker? I contacted the manufacturer and they said they don't have replacements. Kind of makes me wonder how long their products last if they don't sell replacements..... Is the cooker meant to be disposed of within the year or two? The front sticker for the buttons is cheap and wasn't adhered all the way when I got the cooker. It's definitely not great quality but it does the job.

Tips: Use the cooker outside when starting it for the first time. This awful plastic smell is released upon first usage..

This cooker works ok but has no recipes at all. It tells you it is a rice cooker but how much rice to how much water? Everything is preset and you don't know what is high pressure and what is low pressure. Their website offers nothing either. I would never purchase this cooker again. I tried to call them but all I got was the answering machine. I'm very unhappy with this brand.

I tried it only once so far on a pot roast using the MEAT setting. The result was wonderful but the amount of meat was only half of what the recipe called for so the 15 minute preset time was adequate. Here is the reason for 4 instead 5 stars. The manual is almost useless. It is sparse and hard to understand. Mainly, how do I set my own time? The pot is also supposed to be able to slow cook; how do I set it for that? No mention is made in the manual. I was hoping to hear from Homeimage since the last review I sent. I would just like for someone to come through with directions that make sense. Otherwise the pot is exactly what I wanted. PLEASE HELP! olimpiatodor@gmail.com

we have used it twice since Christmas and I think it is going to get many more uses, However the instructions were bit of a challenge and the first meal was not the best but since this was our first time using a pressure cooker we chalked it up to user error!

CAME THE NEXT DAY. I WANTED TO CHECK IT OUT SO I MADE CHICKEN SOUP. I PRESSED THE SOUP BUTTON. IN 30MIN I HAD DELICIOUS SOUP. IT BEEPS 3 TIMES WHEN IT'S READY. THEN YOU LET THE STEAM OUT ON TOP AND IT'S EASY TO OPEN. STAINLESS STEEL POT IS SO EASY TO CLEAN AND IT HOLDS 6 QUARTS BIGGER THAN MOST. CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT AGAIN!!!
