Best little vaccum ever made,

Years ago I used to sell these in a little vacuum shop and thought they were fantastic. Many years later I know live in a small condo and needed a small, but powerful vacuum. I saw one of our janitors at work using one and just had to find one for myself. It is every bit the fine product that it was years ago and perhaps even better. So happy to have found my PortaPower!

I have purchased two of these vacuums. The first one my kids ripped the hose so it quit working properly. I have all hard wood floors and 4 dogs that shed. This vacuum does a great job with pet hair. The built in filter also doubles as the bag so no need to buy bags and you can wash the filter. We use this vacuumon a daily basis. I suggest buying the carrying case as I did with it because you can put it over your shoulder and go room to room easily. The cord is extra long and reaches pretty far. I can do my downstairs without moving the plug. All in all I love this vacuum for bare floors. I do not have carpet in my home so I am only giving my opinion based on bare floor use.

Perfect for large house with pets, kids. Long cord, easy to transport. Easy reach for things like spilled rice in cabinets and overhead light fixtures. Easy clean vac bag and no running to the store for replacements! This is porta-power number 3 for me. I loved the first one. The later models have heavy, cumbersome metal extension arms and the flex tubing is too tight. The real problem (which caused the demise of number 2) is the loose power switch. It turns off frequently during use, I'm pretty sure this is what cause number two to burn out. My attitude is that the pros outweigh the cons. If I only get 2 or 3 years of life out of it, its worth the money.
