Do you suffer from Oreoporosis? Is there an instant Mess-age at your house when you go away? Is a period just punctuation found in your romance novels while you fan yourself? If you can relate to any of these circumstances, you may be going through a midlife chrysalis. If you find yourself with a group of women playing such games as the "Millionaire Purse Game," wearing red and purple together and eating chocolate until you pass out, then this book is for you. HOT AND BOTHERED BY IT contains fifty poems celebrating the midlife experience for women. This book is the perfect companion for entertaining you and your friends at your next night out. This book is also GREAT for your reading group!
The most fun I've had lately is writing a YA book with award winning author, Nancy Naigle under the pen name Johnson Naigle. Our co-written book is inkBLOT, is out now finally! A series of crimes surface resolving around inkblot images. Who's the culprit, Ronnie Wright, the inkblot survey webmaster or Chelsea Pressman, the news hungry reporter who writes about them? Read it and find out!
My other books are poetry books. Hot and Bothered By It was inspired by ten years of hot flashing. Hey, I had to get something good out of it, right? My second book, Being Frank with Anne, is the poetic interpretation of Anne's diary and has received attention from Miep Gies, the woman who helped hide the Frank family in the Secret Annexe. The third book is Twelve is for More Than Doughnuts, poetry and prose based on the Bible. The fourth poetry book is Poetic Dreamer, inspired by art, photography, and life in general.
I also write romance under a pen name and have short stories published in anthologies online. I always have a number of projects going at any given time and there are always new ideas for writing developing. That's what keeps things interesting. I love the support of other writers and thrive in the company of other creative people. Some of my favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks and Robert Fulghum. Writers who have held many different careers or read extensively make some of the best writers.
