From Library Journal

Kuriansky, author of Women Who Love Too Much and Smart Women/Foolish Choices, turns her attention to helping women who have reached top levels in their professions choose a mate. She argues that attraction between the sexes is composed of four elements: brain chemistry, early conditioning, cultural stereotypes, and family relationships. Checklists and exercises provide insight into how these components influence a woman's image of her "ideal mate" and how an understanding of these factors allows her to evaluate her own needs. Numerous case histories are used to show that successful, well-educated women can find happiness with men who are less ambitious, less successful, and have less money than themselves. Serialized in New Woman and Cosmopolitan . Literary Guild alternate and Doubleday Book Club selections.

This review is from: HOW TO LOVE A NICE GUY (Paperback)
Actually, I cannot remember a lot about this book, but it seemed to work for me. I did read it and I did open my mind to new possibilities and I did marry a nice guy. I found and married my new best friend. I am happier than I have ever been in my 51 years of life. I feel loved like I never have before. (It seems to take some of us longer to figure things out, but it is never too early to be happy). If you are consciously looking for your mate, use all the resources available to find the right one for you. Mr. Perfect does not exist, but Mr. perfect for me does exist for everyone. I believe this book would be helpful for anyone looking for any kind of mate.
