best paper alive for color laser 2-sided prints,
I do DTP all the time and this is the best paper I've ever seen, especially for double-sided prints, since there is little to no bleed-through to the other side (32lb thickness works). It has a slight blue/purple tint if you look closely (quite beautiful to me anyway). I've used Hammermill quite a bit in the past with good success but this beats it at least for double-sided. Don't bother with generics or in-store brands if top quality is what you are looking for; from my experience, they quite frankly lie about stats such as brightness (or else are using their own scale)...
It is expensive, so try to get it on sale (under $14.99 for 500sheet).

Best price-quality point for color laser printing,

I've tried a range of HP laser paper for my color laser printer (a Minolta Magiccolor 2300DL) and this "premium choice" provides the best output quality for a reasonable price.
Lower end papers beneath this level aren't glossy and color images fail to pop out. Higher end papers above this level start getting expensive per sheet and to my eye I can't see the difference in the image quality. I'm mostly printing multiple images per page (perhaps 8-10) rather than printing 4x6 or 8x10 images as a photo printer. For straight photos I think the online services are best, but for mixed text and images a color laser printer and this paper works very well.

Good for color, not so hot for duplex prints,

I bought this paper for my HP Color LaserJet 2605dn. It has sufficient opacity to make good color prints, and good weight without being a bristol.
Unfortunately, on my printer at least when I print two-sided, the coating on the paper doesn't seem to handle the heat from the second passage through the printer and develops an unattractive mottled aspect. It works just fine in my monochrome HP Laserjet 1320, however, I suspect it has a better paper feed.

Best color laser paper you can buy,

No two ways about it. This paper is the best. If you have a color laser, this paper will make a big difference. Actually, it will make any laser look better.
This is a bright white paper with a smooth heavy feel. Just wonderful. I have used it with my photo inkjets too and it helps them too.

Best, brightest, smoothest, most misfeeds,

I set out on a mission to find the best premium laser paper for our new Xerox 550 multifunction device. It came with some nice Xerox premium paper which intrigued me as to what the state of the premium paper market was.
I'll be quick out the gate and tell you that this was the best paper I tried out of the three-- the other was Hammermill Ultra-Smooth 32 lb 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Laser Print Office Paper 500 Sheets (10464-6) and Xerox Premium Laser Copy Paper, 98 Brightness, 24 lb, 8-1/2 x 11, White, 500 Sheets per Ream (3R13038). This paper was the brightest, whitest smoothest of all three. Printing a full sized full color photo led to a picture that looked smooth and without texture showing through from the paper. When printing a powerpoint I got the cleanest reproduction with the least bleed through on the other side. The paper is thick though, and almost borders on presentation paper like HP Premium Presentation Paper. Even on the thick paper setting on the copier (the Xerox we have is new and fairly advanced) I still received the most misfeeds/jams with this paper. It's the best paper, but it comes at the price of more work to use it, at least for me. This is why I've rated it 4 stars instead of 5. That being said, what you need in a premium paper may vary from person to person and project o project. If you weren't putting the three papers side by side, it wouldn't be so obvious that this HP paper is the brightest white. And sometimes you want a premium paper without feeling like a collection of card stock when you gather a few pages. In that case, the Hammermill Ultra-Smooth 32 lb 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Laser Print Office Paper 500 Sheets (10464-6) is my second choice. If you prefer something a bit thinner, my second choice was the Hammermill Ultra-Smooth 32 lb 8 1/2 x 11 Inch Laser Print Office Paper 500 Sheets (10464-6). It's a bit less ultra super white, but has a very nice smooth feel and print quality, and doesn't let the second side bleed through as much as the Xerox paper. If you are doing single sided prints, and want paper that feels more like regular paper, the Xerox is a totally fine option. In conclusion-- the very best paper is this paper for premium all around Laser printing. It's thick. It's probably thicker than I'd use for every day use. It would be totally appropriate for an office where clients visit the office and leave with a print out, for internal office printing that gets filed permenantly or displayed and when you don't want to pay the premium for presentation paper.

This is my choice premium paper because 1) The bleed-through is minimal (least of several common and premium papers I have tried) when I write on it with a fountain pen. 2) The paper has a good deal of "body", although some could fault this because it is somewhat stiff, and harder to fold. But good "body" is what I desire for a more finished product. 3) The slightly slick, very slightly glossy surface appeals to me, and looks high-grade. 4) For casual image printing, my inkjet printer performs very well on this paper, and there is minimal color shift or dulling. 5) Finally, and of truly significant importance for me, is that the vendor ReStockit sells this paper at the cheapest price I have encountered. My local Staples store (great service!) sells the identical paper for about 45% higher price, including tax. ReStockIt ships freee! No, I have NO connection whatsoever with ReStockIt, other than being a VERY satisfied first-time customer.

I am very pleased with the quality of this paper.
I've been going through reams of copy paper that I recently purchased at a great discounted price; the initial cost was a pleasant feature but the final copies were a disappointment. The HP Laserjet Premium Choice Paper just seems to flow through the machine and consistently produces high-quality images. This product deserves a five-star rating.

Chose this paper because it was a great deal on a heavier weight paper, my printer (Canon MP620) requires special paper and does very poorly w/the cheap stuff. This paper comes out looking fantastic and is even good enough to print both sides w/most material. I still use photo paper for high end stuff but for book reports, work presentations, letters, internet reciepts etc. this is great stuff. I would recommend this product as a great paper for printers needing better grade paper to print well.
