Lightweight design and wireless connectivity allow you to take the HP 350c DeskJet printer anywhere you go. Weighing in at just over 4 pounds, the compact 350c is fully portable and its rugged design is made for travel. Use the optional infra-red adapter for convenient wireless printing or the built-in USB port for quick and easy connection to both Mac and PC systems. The 350c operates on a fast, built-in recharging NiMH battery.

In addition, the 350c provides desktop-quality printing at 5 pages per minute (2 ppm color). It handles several different paper types and sizes including transparencies, labels and legal paper. It produces professional quality documents at 600 x 600 dpi and crisp color at 600 x 300 dpi. Using HP's SmartFocus, the 350c sharpens your low-resolution internet images automatically.

The Hewlett Packard 350c includes an external power adapter, 30-page portable sheet feeder, AC cord set, printer driver, ink cartridges and reference guides.

It prints black text at up to 5 pages per minute and color at up to 2 pages per minute. The 350c is compatible with both PC and Mac computers. It comes with ColorSmart technology that analyzes documents automatically to optimize imaging capabilities for clearer, more vivid output, and SmartFocus that sharpens low-resolution images from the Internet for better quality images. I bought this printer with the intention of using it when traveling via plane, train or automobiles, what a concept eh?

The darn thing does not come with a battery!!!!!!!! You have to order it seperately. What idiotic marketing genius thought of this configuration plan?

One other thing is that you must have a flat surface for the paper to land on when it is ejected. I have had it on a car seat and the ejected paper landed on the floor, ink side down of course, and smeared. A catcher of some sort would be very helpful.

Also, be prepared to change cartridges from color to b/w often. A true pain, (or waste VERY expensive color cartridges for basic correspondence).

If you travel by plane, this is not the printer you want. After 4 - 5 trips in a well packed piece of checked luggage, the sheet feeder mechanism will not feed paper. The printer still prints fine, but you must manually feed one sheet at a time. After several HP warranty exchanges, all printers ended in this same condition.
I love HP products -- but this one is a real dog!

Nice printer for the price, does not use USB cable must purchase a cable to convert IEEEE cable connector to USB, print speed is not bad for a portable printer, one of the few printers out there that is truly portable
