My review is just to say that this printer ink is probably what you're expecting to receive. The XL is a better deal than the normal size, and works out to be cheaper over the long run. I did all the math and research on this, so you can trust me on that. This price is good unless you have a coupon somewhere -- I checked Staples and all the other name brand stores. So, don't over-research if you need HP 564 printer ink. This is a good deal.

As owner of several ink jet printers before my present purchase, I found the actual combination of HP All-in-one Photo Smart Premium Technology with HP Ink quality very successful and hard to be surpassed. The easiness of cartridge(s) replacement and the sharp and crispy photographs I can get on my own, make the real difference between original HP ink cartridges and the several "no name" products on the market.

We have used the HP brand of ink exclusively in our printer from the beginning. It always does a good job and is odor-free. The lack of an odor is very important to my wife, whose printer uses this particular cartridge, as she is very sensitive to odors.

This is one of the four photo inks her printer uses and we have found the XL size works well and gives good cartridge life. We have two HP printers and have always used the HP ink exclusively with complete satisfaction.

My wife previously had an Epson printer and we had tried a remanufactured cartridge on one occasion which had a strong odor; after that we decided to stick with the brand name cartridges from the printer manufacturer and have been pleased with the results.

The shipping was fast.
The expiration date was over a year from the purchase date. This is very good because after the expiration date you can't easily use the ink cartridge, even if it is full of ink.

I have used the HP 564XL cartridges for quite a while. They are easy to use and give great photos.

The biggest complaint for personal inkjets is well.. ink. It's always expensive and you feel like you are spending the lionshare of your purchase on the fancy packaging and plastic delivery mechanism. We use our printer for casual use and a decent amount of photo 4x6 printing. These XL inks definitely last longer than the std versions that shipped with the printer, and yellow always seems to go first. But they work as advertised, and never last as long as you want them to. We've had our printer for 2 years and replaced inks once a year now.

The colors seem to pop when using the special 4x6 papers and drying time is very fast. I haven't seen any fading in pictures that were printed 2 yrs ago with these inks, and they are advertised to not fade, so i guess its working as advertised.

Arrived from Ship It Depot, Inc. NOT in retail packaging as advertised! I contacted Amazon and they will take it back, but the false advertising is blatant!

I won't know for a few weeks whether or not this cartridge has any ink in it (I just changed this color out before this cartridge arrived today). The last cartridge I received from Amazon that claimed to be in retail packaging, but was just in an envelope didn't work. These are usually re-manufactured cartridges or factory seconds. Regardless, this is false advertising by the vendor (GO-DPS) who claimed it was in retail packaging. Buyer beware!

Item's photo and script states ink is in Retail Packaging, however ink cartridges came wrapped in bubble wrap. Most likely they are extremely out-of-date (old) and were disguised (repackaged) to hide the problem or are illegally imported counterfeit cartridges. Not sure if deception is etheical? The cartridges are working properly after insertion and the HP printer recognizes them. I gave them one star for marketing/advertising and 5 stars for performance, thus an average of 3 stars. So buyer beware.

What can I say. It is an HP ink for an Hp printer and it works. I bought some re-manufactured cartridge but it no worky and I didn't want to bother with a swap. Besides I like the ink levels to show.
