HP 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

I used 6-ink printing with HP 57 and 58 cartridges on my PSC 2210 multifunction machine using 4800*1200 optimized color DPI. The printouts look perfect on HP premium photo paper. Howerver, the HP 58 photo cartridge runs out after fewer than 20 8*11 pages (60 4*6 photos), and the HP 57 cartridge has only about 1/4 left. It would be much cheaper if I just took the images to the 1-hour photo processing center in my local Costco...

Be very cautious when purchasing printer cartridges. I recently purchased an HP 58 cartridge through Amazon. It was printing photos with a very noticeable green tint. A test page revealed the light magenta was not printing correctly. I tried cleaning the print head and contacts to no avail. I ended up purchasing another cartridge from a local office supply. It works fine. That's when I noticed an expiration date on the box and cartridge. The one purchased locally had an expiration date in 2012. The one I purchased through Amazon had an expiration date in mid-2009. It was over a year past the expiration date when I received it. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE DATE ON THE BOX BEFORE YOU OPEN IT!!!

My printer is happy again now that it's ink is all topped off. I found my HP ink for a great price. And you can't beat shopping online. Delivery was quick and easy, and I received the product in good condition and ready to go to work. Thanks, M. Schueler

this product tends to get more expensive when relying on traditional stores to

get it. so it was a nice surprise to find it with amazon and at a reasonable cost.

Seriously, this vendor stinks! The cartridge did not come in a box; only in the foil envelope which is normally within a box. The date on the foil envelope was Oct04. Whether this was the manufacture date or the expiration date it makes no difference. This cartridge was much too old (more than 7 years), and it speaks very poorly of this vendor, pcInk, to try and sell it. I requested a return which they honored, but with a shipping label with which I had to pay for the return shipping, although I stated that the item received was different than what was advertised. Well, its not worth arguing with them about $3 return postage, but I'll never buy from them again. Be wary if you decide to buy from pcInk.

The box for the cartridge is worn and has obviously been kicking around for awhile. Opened the box and found the expiration date to be May 2007.

The ink cartridges were received exactly 24 hours after I ordered them on line. They were well packaged and the first one in use is functioning fine. I was very pleased with the product and the speed of the service.

Be careful...I thought is was a color cartridge but it is not.

This cartridge gets installed in the Black cartridge slot.

You use it WITH the color cartridge to get six colors instead of three.

The replacement ink cartridge was exactly what I expected. The unit fit perfectly into my printer and delivered the ink okay. The ink quality was equal to that of OEM. The people who shipped the unit were very timely, and the unit arrived sooner than expected.

I would like to say that this company really comes through for their customers! I received an empty envelope in the mail the first time around and I contacted them and they sent me out another product and that to me is good business practices. I will definitely do business with them again and I recommend them highly to others!
