The HP R-series camera dock makes it easy to connect your R-series HP Photosmart digital camera to your computer for transferring, printing, and sharing of photos and videos. It also enables in-camera battery recharging (rechargeable batteries included) as well as a second battery with the additional charging bay. You can also print photos to PictBridge-compatible printer directly from the dock without having to go through your PC.

Show your dazzling photos to friends and families through your TV with the included A/V cable. You'll be able to run photo slideshows using the included remote control.

With HP's Instant Share feature, you can customize your camera with e-mail aliases and distribution lists of your family and friends. For each picture, you can designate up to 14 destinations, including e-mail addresses, compatible printers, and more. Once you attach the camera to your PC, your photos are optimized and automatically sent to the destinations you've selected.

What's in the Box
This package contains the R-series camera dock (model C8887A), rechargeable lithium-ion battery, USB cable (2.0), A/V cable for connecting dock to TV, and remote control (with included battery). The dock measures 5.26 x 2.13 x 1.26 (W x D x H). It's backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

I got this dock for the HP R707 camera. It works great and takes up very little desk space. It measures about 2" x 5". It comes with all the cables and will even charge a spare battery while also charging the battery in the camera. A great product!

The item is a brilliant accessory but unfortunately as supplid it will not fit my R818 camera.
The 2 supplied clear plastic adapters fit my R417 & my sons R717, the R818 camera has a much smaller spade connector and the user accessory guide shows it being used with a black plastic adapter on the docking station.
I've tried to E mail Amazon several times on this web site to purchase the correct product with no acknowlegement, result or response so I'm currently a bit dissappointed with the service - Be warned

This dock allows storage and charge of an extra battery and the camera, so both batteries are always charged and ready to use. Connects easily to pc/tv/printer. Thought I only needed the camera and almost didn't purchase, so glad I did.
