This product is an HP-branded power adapter offered at a fraction of what HP sells it for. If you do not see your product below, look up the power adaper that includes a plug adapter that offers additional compatability (i.e. dongle - HP 90W Smart Pin Dongle AC Adapter (KG298AA)).

This is my third one so far! The problem with this is the connection part that goes into your laptop, it bends really easily and as weeks go by it will eventually stop working cuz its been bent so much. The newer laptops dont have that so their cords hardly ever break, but these do.

If you buy one make sure you place the laptop in a position where the cord doesnt bend. Make sure its straight out.

I have one threaded under my desk, and it is nice to have a spare when I want to go to another room or take the computer out of the house. Always price compare, I found mine for much less than at HP website.

This came with a power cord. I didn't see one with it on the internet picture so I ordered a power cord separately. You will get the cord and adaptor together. It works. It is the HP adaptor which is not a real reliable unit if you read the HP reviews. I had called HP about ordering a replacement adaptor and they had told me I would need to order a power cord and an adaptor at over 100 dollars together. This is a much better deal. HP just soaks the consumer on replacement parts.

This was a great replacement for my HP charger that just recently broke. What I figured out was that my computer required a 90 watt charger, but they had given me a 65 watt charger in the box. So, I came on here to purchase it and it's so much better than paying $80. It came in a new packaged HP box and everything. Would definitely recommend buying this product! It's worth the money.

Don't get tricked into paying the HIGH price the manufacure will try to sell it for! I was sceptical about the price on this item and thought maybe it was an after market item, but IT WAS NOT! It is an HP Original charger!! It works great and I am completely satisfied!!

I bought this 90 W AC Adapter for my HP Pavillion dv5 and it works great! I've had to purchase other powercords in the past until I went on HP's website and saw that I needed the 90 W instead of the 65W (which is the one they originally put in the packaging for my laptop)! This cord works great and doesn't burn up like the 65W one used to. Also the length of this cord is great just like original cords (not a replacement part). Best thing of all this cord is a real HP product and it was cheap!!!! I would recommend this to anyone! Also, seller was great and sent cord very promptly!

I needed a new power cord for my HP laptop. Went to Bestbuy and they wanted $80.00. What a ripoff I thought. Bought it from Amazon for $20.00 and that included shipping. Perfect!

Although I ordered standard shipping, I received the package from Hitechparts on Amazon Marketplace after two days from my order date! I was very glad to see that the product was indeed a genuine HP product and came exactly as described.

At first, I thought that the adapter would not fit, but I looked further into the box and it came with another adapter! I know that if any of my friends were in need of a battery charger, my adapter could change to fit into several HP and Compaq models. I would definitely recommended this product and seller!

It's exactly the same and for a cheaper price than the price listed on HP website. It works perfectly with my dv400-500 hp laptop. I would recommend this for anyone.
