Hey Hewlet Packard is a great company with great products. I have a Apollo P-1200 printer and instead of paying 40.00 for this cartridge in stores I pay 31.00 for it here. The cartridges (both color and black last forever so don't worry about running out of ink with a little heavy printing. I got my printer back in June of 1999 and this is the end of September and it's nowhere near gone. I have printed over 400 sheets. It's a good product and a good company. Cartrages never leak ink and there easy to install. Definitely worth the money.

I have had my Deskjet 540 for over 10 years and it still works great. I'm just glad HP still makes the cartridge for it. How can someone review the cartridge and complain about not being able to refill it. It was not designed for that so why blame the cartridge for it?

bought two pack ink cartridge -one quit working after a week even though there were plenty of ink still in it. Also: no way to return empty cartridges.

It seems like I have owned a Hewlett-Packard Desk Jet 500 forever. It prints slowly and only in black and white, but it has not broken down in all the years I've owned it. The HP 26 Black Ink Cartridge is perfect for this printer. I've tried substitute brands and they usually clog after a while. This has never happeneded with this brand of cartdrdge. And I always feel like I got my money's worth by the time it does run out of ink.

The provider of the ink cartridge messed-up and sent me the wrong product, but after contacting them, they corrected the order and I had it in a couple days (correct ink) and a return mailer to send the wrong ink back at no shipping cost to me. That was impressive!

I buy this black ink for my old Apollo P-1200. I have it in a box for a long time. But i need aditionals printers for my post-grade tesis and i print a lot of previews. I try to give my apollo to my childs and i take my deskjet 3200 for real stuff. Its a lot of ink for my kids but a little slow for them. The cartrige comes very good packed and i put inmediatelly in the old printer and after configuring the resolution came to life again.

The only bad point is that the delivery get a lot of hits and when i put out of the package i get spots of ink in my hands, after cleaned was ok.

Very good fast service. Very happy to recieve the product in time !!

My HP Deskjet 400 is 9 yrs old and finding cartridges at the local "Wally World" used to be easy. Now they no longer carry this and the companion color cartridge. After checking other sources in my area and becoming frustrated with high prices, I bought on-line at an extremely low price for 2 cartridges and am well pleased with the results.

I can never let go of my Desk Jet 500 series because I so love this printer cartridge. None like it anywhere in the world. I have three other printers, high-end, and their cartridges don't even come close to giving me the same quality end product.

I have previously refilled cartridges or purchased "remanufactured" cartridges. After several problems, I only purchase NEW cartridges through Amazon, where I get the best prices -- good enough to outweigh alleged savings on reffils, refubs or remanufactured cartridges.
