Perfectly fits into the computer and works well, but the key assemblies are flimsy compared to the OEM product. Works flawlessly, just not good if you need to take keys off to clean under them. The keyboard does sink down around the L key, but is not noticeable unless you look for it. For less than half the price of HP's replacement, EXTREMELY satisfying!

This keyboard looks and feels just as solid as the one that came with my laptop. If anything it feels 'tighter' but that is probably because it is replacing one that was about 3 years old on a machine that I use 12+ hours a day most days.

Good replacement and easy to install once the cover is off the laptop. Whew! For a while there I thought I was going to have to take the laptop in for service, a $100 - $200 proposition. This was too easy. You just need a set of mini screwdrivers and about 20 minutes to complete the job. Excellent.

As a replacement for my water filled keyboard. Follow the online instruction for changing the keyboard, just works. With a minimal price to pay, revive my laptop for another 1 year now. Totally worth every penny.

You need to be little handy to handle the replacement.

my laptop keyboard went south, so I inquired of the Geek Squad what it would cost to replace it. Their answer "Well, after you buy it from a third party, we'll gladly install it for $100." At that point I thought a new keyboard must cost a couple of hundred dollars. I was pleasantly surprised to find one on Amazon.com for about $12 with an offer from the seller to help me install it. I am very pleased to have found the replacement keyboard.

I received my keyboard in a very short time and am very happy with it. I will use Amazon for future purchases.

I recently purchased this to replace the keyboard on my DV9310us laptop. I was under the impression that since my laptop is part of the DV9000 series, that I could use this keyboard for my computer.

Unfortunately after I installed the keyboard, I received a series of beeps when my computer attempted to POST. After researching the type of beeps based on my PC's bios, I found this was caused by an incompatible keyboard.

The beeps stopped when I reinstalled my old keyboard.

The bottom line is if you have a DV9310us, don't order this product. Instead, you should order the replacement OEM keyboard from HP directly as the keyboard listed here is not compatible with the HP DV9310us. You'll pay more for the OEM keyboard, but it's much cheaper than dealing with the headache of the keyboard listed here on Amazon and or having to buy a new laptop.

I installed this keyboard in my computer this week and it is great. Works perfectly and installed easily. Does not come with directions, but there are tons of YouTube videos showing you how to change it out... very easy.

This was the exact same item that others were selling for twice the price. I have the model DV9500 and this was totally compatable. There were even step by step istructions online for taking my laptop apart and replacing the keyboard - we just did a Google search to find it. 100% happy with this product.

After going to youtube and watching a short video on how to replace a keyboard on an HP dv 9000 it was an easy task. Great product at a very reasonable price.
