Packaged and shipped appropriately for a refurbished cartridge. The printer is printing like new and clean. Very happy. Now I just want to know how I recycle my old cartridge through this vendor.

The cartridge arrived in the toner bag, but the inside of the toner bag and the cartridge itself were covered with toner dust. It sounds like another reviewer's experience here. I wonder if the I received his returned cartridge. When we put it into the printer, all of the pages had a smudged grey background, where it should have been clean white (the paper shouldn't have had any markings on it). I'll try again, but am not hopeful.

[We wrote a review at first that rated this at 1 star (see above). This has been changed to 4 stars. I would've given it 5 except that we had to go through the whole bad cartridge episode.]

We returned the first cartridge, indicating that it didn't work, and ordered another. The second one works just fine! The box for the cartridge appears to be newer (i.e. at least within the last 10 years, whereas the other one looked about 20 years old). The actual cartridge itself also had a piece of tape on the cartridge to keep the toner inside the cartridge until it's put into use (the first cartridge seemed to miss this feature, and thus had toner all over the inside of the bag it came in).

Moral of the story: if the first one you get doesn't work, return it and try another...after that, you're on your own! Hope this helps!

Received the cartridge that had been clearly opened and used. The half destroyed box was labeled "remanufactured". Opened the box further to find toner dust *everywhere*. The cartridge itself was absolutely covered in toner. It was obviously used and most likely many times. I tried printing one page after cleaning up the cartridge and found it left trails of dust on the page. The items description clearly says "NEW" and it absolutely is anything but new - more like a VERY used piece of junk. I will be sending this back.
