This was exactly what I needed. I have a 19" TV for the RV. It needs to come down for travel. I used to do the four bolts, then figured that there has to be a better way. I came across this, now I save much time (and frustration) when setting up and taking down camp.
I have the matching setup to use the TV in the garage, when we are not camping.

This works well depending on what you want to do with it. I have two arms and one television; I move the TV based on the season, basically. Anyway, it makes sense for me but I have to have two of these clips - because each arm needed one. The complementary clip goes on the television and lets me quickly move the from the one arm to the other. When cable boxes cost $10 - 12 per month, the calculus makes sense in a hurry.
Anyway, it holds a 22" flat screen on the arm nicely, it's easy to remove as long as you're tall enough, and it's sturdy / well built. I don't worry about the TV crashing down or anything like that. It would make sense to only have one clip if the two locations for the TV were an arm and a self-standing (tabletop / armoire / whatever). Then you could take it down and just set it where it needed to go, then rehang it when needed. Moving the cable box isn't too onerous since I use HDMI cable; if it was righteous spaghetti back there it could be a pain. |
