Amazing little thing!!,

I have owned this mouse for about a month now and I am extremely impressed. Not only is this mouse tiny enough to carry with you anywhere, but it is also extremely versatile and even has a scrolling feature which many mice of comperable utility do not. The wireless feature of this mouse works perfectly and I have had no problems. The price is great as well.
***Bottom line: this is a convenient tool that I would not live without for a rather small cost***

When I needed a replacement for my wired mouse, I checked out the wireless from HP a Pavillion Wireless Laser mini Mouse EY018AA. I ordered it through Amazon. The mini mouse sells for $19.00. It is an excellent product especially with the receiver that tucks in place at the bottom of the mouse--very useful when you have to set it aside or take it someplace. I received my mouse 2 days after I ordered it, way earlier than I expected. The item is BRAND NEW and works very very well. The seller and the product are highly recommended.

Not bad, bit quirky sometimes,

This mouse is a bit too small for my hands, and it doesnt have contours for the shape of your hands so sometimes it can slip when your using it. The surface is also smooth.
The USB receiver stows away neatly at the bottom so it doesnt add volume to the mice and its easy to store and looks good. BUT the USB receiver is sooo slim that I'm afraid its gonna break if somebody pushes on it by mistake when its plugged in. Mine already has hairline cracks on it with less than 4 months of use. As far as battery life goes, the battery lasts really long so no issues on that front. The mouse is a laser mouse so I expected it to work perfectly on all surfaces but when I tried using it on the sofa which has a serrated rough surface, the cursor went all over the place. Rarely, very rarely the mouse stops responding for a second or so and starts working again. Bottom line- if your looking for a mouse to work on all surfaces, I wudnt recommend it otherwise its a good mouse for the price with a really flimsy USB receiver.

First off... let me start by stating I ended up returning this but it was because I was being unrealistic with the expectations. I got this to use as a mouse for my HTPC however it only has a working range of about 10ft from the usb dongle. What I really needed was a bluetooth mouse but that is my fault not this product's. This HP mini mouse was really really small but worked well when I was trying it out within the 10ft range. Was good build quality and very reponsive. Also please understand that a 10ft working range is very common in usb mice. I have tried about 10 to 15 usb mice before I went to bluetooth and they all had similar results.

Kind of small, but feels good in my hand, almost like a bigger mouse, comfortable to use.
Pros: Feels nice, responsive. Button clicks crisp, not mushy or ambiguous. Cons: Poor receiver sensitivity, loses signal about 15" away, must stay within 12" for reliable use. Buttons make loud clicks. Driver software does not allow programming any button to be "double click". There are a dozen useless actions that can be assigned to a button, but not double-click. This is a deal breaker for me.

needs more powerful radio signal otherwise you have to be less than like 3 feet away from Mini, I hook my mini up to my TV. Logitech has better wireless KB and mouse combos

Poor Quality,
This review is from: HP EY018AA#ABA Wireless Laser Mouse (Black) (Personal Computers)
I would like to give this a higher rating simply for the relatively long lasting battery life. It is also easy to carry around, since it is so small. However, after having it for a few months the mouse has started to get skitso. The mouse will start bouncing around the screen when you try to move. You have to be very careful when using it for you might click somewhere you don't want to.
To sum it up, I have to give this a 1/5 because I intend to buy a new mouse immediately. This was crap.

Decent Mouse,

I've had mine for about two and a half years now. Overall, it's lasted a long time without any severe problems. What I like about this mouse is that it's small so it's super portable. The USB receiver also can be neatly tucked into a compartment on the bottom of the mouse. Sure, it's pretty flimsy but mine has cracks in it and I've bent it many times before, but the mouse still works. Also, this mouse has been thrown around like mad and things are alright. The battery is on the back end and can be opened up with the press of a button. This mouse also has an incredible battery life. However, there are issues as well. Just after a few months of use (and no, it didn't suffer accidents yet), the mouse would freeze and not respond. The only way it would start up again is if I opened the battery compartment and closed it. The left button wouldn't work as well and the cursor would freeze, but if I right-clicked, the options would come up and then a second later, the cursor worked again. Also, it wouldn't respond to a left click and I'd sometimes have to click two or three times at max for it to work. After two months, I couldn't zoom correctly anymore because it would jump all over the place. The mouse does poorly on many uneven surfaces and sometimes would jump on its own randomly. But I'm a pretty easy person and this mouse has done its job adequately for me. I often game on my laptop and this mouse has done just fine for me. The biggest reason why I'm giving this mouse three stars is because it's hardy/durable and the battery life is just amazing to me.

GREAT MOUSE,

I really can't remenber how long I've had this mouse, it has been perfect. The only time it did not work was when I forgot to insert the usb receiver. I've also wondered how long the battery life is. I have never had to change it. A very good buy.
