I use this laptop for Mechanical Design using SolidWorks. The laptop is great. I had used the Dell M90 in the past but it looks like H/P has finally caught up with Dell based on the performance and features. Overall the H/P 8730w has great features and an affordable package price. They have a real winner with this model.
