Needed a 6 pin to 6 pin cable. NONE available locally so ordered this. Came fast and worked great to move info from an old iMac to a new iMac.

Cables work great. If the more expensive cables give a better picture, you couldn't tell it by comparing it to these. Good stuff.

Obtaining Firewire cables locally would have been very expensive. These cables were excellent as to quality and proper shielding at less than half the local price.
