I have had this printer since 2002. Never a single problem. It does not run through cartridges and I save paper by using paper from a printer/copier at work that has been printed on one-side already. I am thinking of having it formally adopted in to the family, always wanted a kid with HP as his initials.

I have used this printer at my office at work and have never had a single problem with it; virtually no paper jams, no errors, no problems of any sort!!!

I give it 4 out of 5 stars, though the printer does have a great deal of speed and function, it's built-in duplexing can tend to be slow, and mine developed a mouse-like squeak when doing duplex printing.

It's a great, reliable piece of printing power!

I had an HP LaserJet 2100 but when I purchased a new computer, the new computer did not have a parallel port. I had to purchase a printer with a USB port. So I purchased a used HP LaserJet 2200d from AMAZON. The printer is excellent except for the front single page feeder where the parts do not easily fold out. However, that's not enough to send it back. An additional reason to purchase this particular printer... It uses the same print cartridges as my older 2100 printer.

From my review title you have detrmined I am pissed with this company, their response time, doing as their policy declares, their none exsisting tech department and their bs (Oh I'm sorry for the trouble this is causing you). Listen to me I have waited on this company to fix this being the second printer for over a month. Listen, I called them no less than 6 times to fix, exchange, have tech support call me and none of this patience has gotten me a workng printer. Listen to me Lisa answers the phone, is so nice, but NICE will not get you a workng printer. Listen to me PLEASE, The first printer did not even power on, Lol. It was cleaner than a new car, but nothing happening. I thought I was being nice by sending the none workng printer back before the replacement came. They had my clean none workng printer back in stock, and yet had not sent out a replacement until I called them. Now you would think they woud rush one out to me NOT! A full seven days later after I had called them about the replacement printer did I get a dirty, paper eating, roller grinding, fifth sheet jamming printer. Why the delay (The company was moving)

Listen to ME, I am making this negative post 3 weeks after the company has moved, and I still have the dirty printer. THE PRINTER TYPE IS GREAT. I use one in my office so I bought one for the house. THE COMPANY blank blanks to the ninth degree.

Lisa is nice if you don't care to have a working product.
