5.0 out of 5 stars Refurbished HP Color Laserjet CM1017 MFP, November 15, 2011

This review is from: HP FACTORY REFURB COLOR LASERJET CM1017MFP 8/8PPM 600X600DPI 250-SHEET 96MB MR U (Electronics)
Bought this machine HP FACTORY REFURB COLOR LASERJET CM1017MFP 8/8PPM 600X600DPI 250-SHEET 96MB MR U to replace a failed beyond repair CM1015 MFP. Have been using it for over a year now and have no complaints other than (1) the software to maintain the MFP does not seem to work with the internet, and (2) it is not wireless capable. The HP website was unable to recognise the computer was installed.

The one time I needed support I had to deal over the phone with overseas help desk people that I honestly could not understand. It would have helped if the technician could have logged into my computer to see why the printer support software did not seem to be installed properly. Maybe because HP stops supporting older machines???

In the future, whenever this machine dies, we will probably go with another color laser MFP, probably refurbished, but a more current edition that does not have the support issues (and is wireless capable). In the meantime, it does all that we ask of it, other than being incapable of wireless networking.
