Since my purchase order said HP 92298A toner cartridge, that is what I expected. It was a remanufactured toner cartridge. It works fine but it is not what was advertised. I knew it was a very good price for HP but I still believe it should have been advertised as a "Premium compatible toner cartridge" not HP.

I agree with Janet B, this was an HP brand, but the box was opened, and the plastic wrapper was open, and the seal strip was broken. Either this was used or remanufactured, and should be advertised as such. It works, but is not as good a deal as getting a genuine, new HP cartridge for this price.

The old adage is true, you get what you pay for...could not get protective tape out of cartridge, so it's pretty much useless. Take my advice, pay the extra and get a good one

My order shipped from "Super Deal". It was a genuine, new HP cartridge and it worked perfectly.

My last attempt to buy a cartridge for this printer from Amazon was an off brand (different item listing). It was impossible to get the seal tape out, it spilled toner, and had a defective drum and streaked worse than my old cartridge.

I am very happy with this new one, and probably never will buy one of those terrible recycled cartridges again.

I bought this from one of the sellers that put it as USED/Like New. I called them before I bought it and made sure it was just refilled, which it was. If you are expecting genuine HP toner prepare to pay A LOT. If you need something that works, consider other toner options, they will do the same job and cost quite a bit less. If you are concerned make sure any seller you buy it from has a reasonable return policy.

If this is a "compatible HP" cartridge, as the title admits, why is a picture shown of an ACTUAL HP-manufactured cartridge. That is deceptive, and makes me think this is a company to avoid.

Don't try to fool people here on Amazon - we all watch out for each other and point out deceptive discrepancies like this. If you're trying to deceive me, then I don't want what you're selling, no matter how good the price seems.

I was a little concerned after reading the "Not HP" reviews, but decided to try, since this is a $40 savings compared to the office supply store. Was not at all disappointed. As far as I can tell, this is original HP, not a refill. Even the first page was beautiful, with no signs of streaking or uneven tone.

1. Poorly made HP cartridge clone.
2. Broke along paper feed edge producing thin sharp plastic shards.
3. Ink no longer sealed in cartridge.
4. Plastic shards jammed into printer.
5. HP box was not a retail box, a clone box.
6. A very bad experience, do not recommend this company for any product or service.

This toner is an original product, comes in its HP box and is far less expensive than what is available in regular stores. Impressed overall. Will recommend.

We have an old LaserJet4 printer and at times it is difficult to find a cartridge at a reasonable price. We were skepticle of this product due to the good price but have had no problems whatsoever.

The package arrived in good condition and the product was equal to what we buy in the local stores.
